    What You’ll Do

    + **Test for Excellence:** Perform electrical testing on switchboards, including dielectric tests, mechanical operation checks, and control wiring validation.

    + **Ensure Compliance:** Execute inspections according to **UL 891** and **NEC standards** , ensuring every product meets rigorous safety and quality requirements.

    + **Document & Report:** Accurately record test data and inspection results for compliance and continuous improvement.

    + **Collaborate & Troubleshoot:** Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and recommend corrective actions.

    + **Drive Quality:** Participate in improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reduce waste.

    + **Maintain Standards:** Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and follow strict safety protocols.

    What We’re Looking For

    + **Education & Experience:** Associate degree in electrical technology or equivalent experience; familiarity with UL 891 and NEC standards.

    + **Certifications:** NETA or similar electrical testing certifications preferred.

    + **Hands-On Expertise:** At least 2 years testing industrial electrical equipment using tools like Hi-pot testers and multimeters.

    + **Technical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution systems, and NFPA 70E safety practices.

    + **Attention to Detail:** High accuracy in testing and documentation.

    + **Physical Ability:** Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

    Work Environment

    + Manufacturing floor setting with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.

    + Safety gear provided: steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and cut-resistant sleeves.

    + Dress code: long pants and long sleeves required.

    + Rotating **2-2-3 shift schedule** (6 AM–6 PM) after initial weekday training.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
