Wiring Technician** **Pay Rate $20.00 to** **Pay Rate Max** **$22.00
Job Description
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This role will be responsible for assembling various components into finished products according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Follow safety protocols and procedures of the company, including wearing safety shoes, glasses, and ear protection.
+ Use all tools in a safe manner and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
+ Read diagrams and schematics of the product to ensure the assembly is accurate.
+ Ensure the quality of the structure by checking the product is level and square.
+ Pay attention to detail, specifically when checking components used on structure build for damages such as dents and scratches.
+ Use torque wrenches to torque bolts to the required specification.
+ Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a team.
+ Understand manufacturing information, such as front views, bill of materials, drawings, blueprints, and order entry systems.
+ Problem-solve using oral or written instructions to assemble switchboards and panelboards and proactively identify missing components.
+ Utilize various hand tools to accurately install material by closely following established procedures.
+ Communicate progress of jobs in the area of assignment and identify problem areas or part shortages.
+ Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and perform root cause analysis in response to issues with quality or production.
+ Be responsible for quality, including visual inspections of material before and after assembly, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors.
+ Assemble copper bussing according to design and check for correct spacing from phase to phase and ground.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

+ Strong ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to multi-task, establish work priorities, and efficiently manage time.
+ Proficiency with using a computer and CAD software to follow the design of the structure.

Work Environment
Our newly established facility will accommodate approximately 200-250 people at full capacity. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and protective clothing, which will be provided or specified. The work environment includes standing or walking for long periods and occasionally lifting up to 25–50 lbs. The manufacturing floor is subject to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. **Employees will work on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6 am to 6 pm, with initial training conducted over the first week.**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
