    Job Title: Fabrication Associate

    Job Description

    As a Fabrication Associate, you will be responsible for the precise assembly of fluid systems using Swagelok components such as tubing, fittings, valves, regulators, and manifolds. You will execute fabrication tasks including tube cutting and bending to exact specifications while maintaining quality guidelines.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform precise assembly of fluid systems using Swagelok components.

    + Execute fabrication tasks such as tube cutting and bending to exact specifications.

    + Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment like orbital welders and tube benders.

    + Conduct functionality, pressure, and leak tests on completed assemblies.

    + Inspect assemblies to identify and correct fabrication issues.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to 5S and safety standards.

    + Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment.

    + Accurately document fabrication steps, materials used, and test results.

    + Communicate progress, challenges, and insights to supervisors and team members.

    + Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer specifications.

    + Assist in training new team members on proper fabrication techniques and safety protocols.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring equipment.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

    + Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in hands-on fabrication and assembly of custom fluid system solutions.

    + Ability to use power tools and perform mechanical assembly.

    + Familiarity with blueprint reading.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
