Job Title: Vertical Lathe Machinist (Night Shift)
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, editing, and operating a Vertical Lathe. Utilizing blueprints or engineering drawings, you will set up parts and perform layouts with precision measuring.
Responsibilities
+ Set up, edit, and operate Vertical Lathe machines.
+ Use blueprints or engineering drawings to set up parts and create layouts.
+ Perform precision measuring and ensure accuracy in machining processes.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with manual lathe and manual machining.
+ Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
+ Strong math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with manual machines.
+ Capability in precision measuring.

Work Environment
You will work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop, experiencing various inside environmental conditions including heat and loud noise. The position is for a second shift, Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm, with initial training on day shift for a couple of weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
