    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic, family-owned business specializing in the production of fixtures and CNC Chucks for CNC Machining. As a job shop, machinists perform 1-4 set-ups daily, working with a diverse range of 3 + 2 axis machinery. The role involves both mill and lathe operations, with opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Interpret drawings, program sheets, and work instructions.

    + Perform a variety of turning, milling, drilling, boring, and related operations to achieve precise tolerances.

    + Conduct set-ups and changeovers efficiently.

    + Perform inspection and gaging operations to ensure quality standards are met.

    + Measure workpieces for conformance and make necessary adjustments.

    + Clean machines, tooling, and parts regularly.

    + Operate multiple machines when required.

    + Collaborate effectively in a team environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, focusing on set-ups and tool changes on mills and lathes.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting work instructions.

    + Ability to make G&M Code Edits using Fanuc or Siemens controllers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience holding tight tolerances.

    + Capability to set up, perform tool changes, offsets, and run 1-2 machines.

    + Familiarity with Mastercam edits.

    + Experience with multiple axis operations.

    + Vericut Programming experience.

    + G&M code programming skills.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
