Job Description

Join our team as a Production Operator, where you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, providing opportunities to work both day and night shifts. You will be responsible for handling various tasks related to production, quality inspections, and logistics.

Responsibilities

+ Bag and palletize products according to instructions and order types.

+ Vacuum large quantities of products from storage holders into industrial bags.

+ Sort bags and pallets of products.

+ Stage and wrap pallets for shipment.

+ Load and unload shipments efficiently.

+ Perform quality inspections on bags, pallets, and containers.

+ Operate forklifts for material handling.

+ Assist in shipping and receiving operations.

Work Environment

You will join a small, close-knit team of production operators in a warehouse/manufacturing environment. The facility is dusty, hot, and noisy, so be prepared for a physically demanding atmosphere. The dress code requires steel-toe boots and work clothes, and while the plant manufactures and distributes graphite, contractors can wear t-shirts and jeans until uniforms are provided. PPE is supplied, excluding steel-toe footwear. Shifts operate on a rotating 12-hour DuPont schedule, offering variety in working hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkinsville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.32 - $19.32/hr.
