Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to add to the team within a machine shop/machine fabrication environment. As an Industrial Painter your primary responsibilities will include preparing paint for specific orders, using spray guns to paint machinery parts, and assisting with general shop duties during downtime.

**Hours** : 6:00am-3:00pm Monday - Friday

**Pay** : $22-28.00 per hour based off relating skills

Responsibilities

+ Prepare paint and primer mixtures for painting tasks.

+ Use spray guns to paint machinery parts on a paint line, ensuring each stage of priming, drying, painting, and staging is completed accurately.

+ Perform heavy lifting as required by the job.

+ Assist with general shop duties such as helping fabricators and builders, grinding and polishing welds, and sanding.

+ Engage in tasks like building crates and general machine shop duties.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in painting and paint preparation.

+ Proficiency with industrial painting techniques and spray guns.

+ Ability to perform sanding and cleaning tasks.

+ Familiarity with hand tools and general labor duties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in grinding, polishing, and sanding.

+ Ability to assist in machine shop duties and crate building.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dynamic machine shop and machine building setting. This role requires the ability to work with various tools and machinery, and flexibility in performing different tasks throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
