Job Title: Lead HVAC Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lead HVAC Installer to join our team, specializing in the installation of residential HVAC systems. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

+ Changeouts of residential HVAC systems, including split systems, rooftop package units, and ductless split systems.

+ Perform basic thermostat wiring, programming, and startup.

+ Conduct copper welding and flare nut skills, along with flushing copper lines, vacuuming, and adding refrigerant.

+ Install various types of ductwork, including flexible, sheet metal, and spiral.

+ Handle drain piping, gas piping, and flue vents using sheet metal double wall and PVC.

+ Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience, specifically in residential installations.

+ Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

+ Valid driver’s license.

+ Authorized to work in the United States.

+ Ability to pass drug screening and physical exam.

+ Must provide own hand tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with electrical work is a nice-to-have.

+ Experience at reputable companies is preferred.

+ Ability to represent the company well while installing for customers.

Work Environment

The work environment is supportive and safety-focused, with hours from 7:00-3:30 or 8:00-4:00, plus overtime as needed. You will receive a company vehicle once proven reliable. The working territory includes the LA Basin, from San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, to Al Hambra, San Marino, and Beachfronts. Expect to commute within 25 miles from Glendale. Shirts and vests will be provided, but you must bring your own hand tools and PPE, such as a hard hat, boots, and goggles.

This is a Permanent position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr.
