    Job Title: CNC Programmer

    Job Description

    This position entails generating programs for various automated machining centers, including sheet metal punching, laser cutting, and bending. As a CNC Programmer, you will work closely with machine operators, production supervisors, and both manufacturing and design teams to enhance machine utilization, improve efficiency, and reduce material waste. This is a start-up facility, making it an ideal opportunity for someone eager to help build out programs and processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Program various automated CNC machines such as sheet metal punches, lasers, press brakes, and tube lasers.

    + Improve machine utilization, efficiency, and reduce material waste.

    + Determine tooling requirements and maintain the tooling database.

    + Prepare material requisitions.

    + Troubleshoot programming and DXF file errors.

    + Prepare documentation to support production.

    + Perform all other tasks related to this position.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in CNC programming.

    + Proficient in Mastercam.

    + Experience with sheet metal, including CNC laser router that cuts sheet metal.

    + Ability to program CNC laser cutting machines and punch machines.

    + Blueprint reading and interpretation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Working knowledge of Salvagnini programming (S4, L5, B3) is an asset.

    + Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and resourcefulness.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ 85212.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
