Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in Oldsmar, FL, where you will play a crucial role in supporting various defense and military programs. As an Electronics Technician, you will engage in troubleshooting and testing electronic circuit card assemblies, ensuring the highest standards in analog and digital circuitry performance.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot to the component (board) level using schematic diagrams.

+ Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies according to established methods and procedures.

+ Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment based on designs and specifications.

+ Adjust and calibrate systems as required, and correct malfunctions by making necessary adjustments or replacing parts.

+ Utilize hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.

+ Determine types of tests to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results.

Essential Skills

+ Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry.

+ Proficient in component level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuits.

+ Experience with Automated Test Equipment.

+ Proficiency in using various measurement devices including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters.

+ 4 years of direct experience in a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in RF Testing.

+ Familiarity with Radar Systems.

+ Ability to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to document maintenance actions.

+ Experience in flying probe/high power test environments.

Work Environment

Work in a large, well-regulated manufacturing facility in Oldsmar, FL. The climate-controlled environment is air-conditioned with well-spaced workstations for individual employees. Choose between a first shift from 5am to 3:30pm or a second shift from 3:30pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays scheduled off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLDSMAR, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
