Job Title: Tooling and Welding Technician

Pay: $25-$35/hr - dependent on experiance

Shift: 2nd- 3:00pm-11:00pm - Monday-Friday

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tooling and Welding Technician to join our team. This role involves the operation and troubleshooting of equipment, as well as the construction and inspection of production tooling. You will work closely under supervision to ensure quality and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

+ Grit tooling

+ Minor operation and troubleshooting of equipment

+ Prep and inventory tooling parts

+ Construct production tooling under supervision

+ Build rakes

+ Inspect tooling

+ Repair tools (welding)

+ Perform any other duties deemed necessary

Essential Skills:

+ Troubleshooting

+ Mechanical aptitude

+ Repair

+ MIG and TIG welding

+ Stainless steel handling

+ Industrial and heavy equipment handling

+ Production and grinding

+ Assembly and blueprint reading

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Quality excellence

+ Strong mechanical abilities

+ Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, climb, and twist as required

Work Environment:

You will be part of a large facility consisting of three buildings, working mainly in two of them. The site hosts approximately 250 people, with around 200 in production. This role is within the Maintenance Department, initially on the 1st shift for training, before transitioning to the 2nd shift (2:50 PM - 11 PM), which offers a 6% differential post-training. Expect a dynamic environment that may involve some travel for educational purposes after the contract period.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.74 - $35.00/hr.
