_Job Description_

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to support complex production and warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, assembly, and inventory control. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure product accuracy and compliance while promoting a safe work environment.

_Responsibilities_

+ Train and mentor team members on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.

+ Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure product accuracy and compliance with specifications.

+ Operate and maintain warehouse systems for inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and reporting.

+ Coordinate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet production goals and resolve material or workflow issues.

+ Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices and assist with cycle counts and audits.

+ Promote and uphold a safe work environment through regular safety checks and participation in training.

_Essential Skills_

+ High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.

+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.

+ Proficiency with warehouse management systems such as SAP, Sphere WMS, and LXE.

+ Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and production workflows.

+ Ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a team setting.

+ Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

+ Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

_Additional Skills & Qualifications_

+ Experience with assembly, hand tools, power tools, repair, and blueprint reading.

This is a Contract position based out of La Vergne, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
