    Job Title: 1st Shift - Forklift Operator and Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently storing items in designated bins, shelves, or floor spaces according to style, size, or material type. You will pull and fill orders using pull tickets or pick lists and deliver items to appropriate areas, ensuring accuracy in stock records and inventory updates in Epicor software. You will also mark items with identifying codes and distribute stock to production workers while tracking issued materials.

    Responsibilities

    + Store items in designated areas by style, size, or material type.

    + Pull and fill orders using pull tickets or pick lists and deliver items to appropriate areas.

    + Keep accurate stock records and update inventory in Epicor software.

    + Mark items with identifying codes, numbers, or letters.

    + Distribute stock to production workers and track issued materials.

    + Move materials between departments using forklifts or other equipment.

    + Perform routine forklift maintenance, including recharging batteries.

    + Process, schedule, and load vendor and customer shipments.

    + Operate sit-down forklifts efficiently and safely.

    Essential Skills

    + Forklift operation with at least 1 year of experience.

    + Material handling and sit-down forklift operation.

    + Inventory management and order picking.

    + Proficiency with RF scanners and pallet jacks.

    + Experience in packing, unpacking, shipping, and receiving.

    + Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs throughout the day.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic computer skills for tasks like printing labels and entering data.

    + Experience with Epicor inventory system is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a small shop with a close-knit team on the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Pay varies from $18-22/hr, based upon experience. Mandatory overtime may be required when needed. The campus features older buildings that contribute to its unique character.

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $45760.00/yr.
