    •Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler who is comfortable being on their feet throughout the workday and possesses the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be cross-trained in various areas of a 12-step process.

    Responsibilities

    + Document receiving of parts and materials.

    + Perform factory resets by manually pressing a button.

    + Conduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs, with cycle times ranging from 60-90 minutes.

    + Carry out Wi-Fi and elevated temperature tests.

    + Perform cosmetic cleaning and repairs.

    + Engage in In Process Quality Control (IPQC).

    + Assemble kits and prepare them for palletizing for specific clients.

    + Ship completed products.

    + Scan parts at every step of the process to ensure quality control.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to stand for the entire workday.

    + Proficient in working collaboratively with others.

    + Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Hand dexterity.

    + Punctuality.

    + Experience in assembly, packing, retail, and repair.

    + Skills in soldering, testing equipment, using RF scanners, computers, reading blueprints, and operating power tools.

    + General labor experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a brand-new facility equipped with a locker area and a cafeteria featuring refrigerators and microwaves. Located in Elgin, IL, the site is easily accessible, being half a mile north of I-90 and south of Route 72, near Randall Road, and close to gas stations and restaurants.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
