    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Accounting Clerk to join our team in Buffalo, New York. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a keen eye for accuracy and a strong background in financial and administrative tasks. The role requires proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and QuickBooks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

    • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and tracking incoming payments.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to record and maintain financial data with precision.

    • Perform accurate data entry to update and maintain records.

    • Sort, organize, and distribute mail related to financial documents and correspondence.

    • Reconcile bank statements to ensure alignment with company records.

    • Assist with preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in financial data.

    • Maintain organized and secure filing systems for all accounting-related documents. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management.

    • Strong skills in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.

    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and external parties.

    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
