Description

We are looking for a part time Bookkeeper (25-30hrs/wk) to join our clients team on the seacoast This role is essential in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records while ensuring smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations, with proficiency in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in QuickBooks.

• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections.

• Reconcile bank statements to ensure alignment with financial records.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.

• Monitor and manage cash flow to support day-to-day operations.

• Assist with budget tracking and forecasting activities.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Address discrepancies in financial records and resolve issues promptly.

• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiencies.

Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
