    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a meticulous Tax Preparer for a contract to permanent opportunity with a reputable client. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in individual and corporate tax preparation who are committed to accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.

    + Review financial records, income statements, and other documents to determine tax liability.

    + Research and interpret tax laws, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

    + Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to maximize credits and deductions.

    + Respond to tax notices and liaise with regulatory agencies as needed.

    + Maintain organized and confidential tax documentation.

    + Support audit processes and help resolve tax-related inquiries.

    Requirements

    + Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + 1+ year of experience in tax preparation.

    + Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines.
