Description

Looking for an experienced Tax Preparer on a contract basis in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will handle a variety of tax-related tasks for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local income tax returns for various entities, including individuals and businesses.

• Analyze financial records and expenditures to identify appropriate deductions and forms.

• Ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax returns.

• Evaluate opportunities for tax credits and liabilities to maximize benefits for clients.

• Collaborate with clients to collect necessary financial data and address tax-related inquiries.

• Stay informed about updates in tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.

• Provide tax planning strategies and advice to help clients minimize future liabilities.

• Organize and maintain confidential financial records with precision and security.

Requirements • Proficiency in tax preparation for individuals and businesses.

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with Lacerte Tax Software or similar programs.

• Ability to review and analyze financial statements and documentation.

• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and data collection.

• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in tax filings.

• Up-to-date understanding of changes in tax laws and regulations.

• Experience in tax planning and identifying optimization opportunities.
