Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a long-term contract (possibly to hire) position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to payroll operations in a fast-paced environment. The role requires accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to maintaining compliance with payroll procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate setup of new employee profiles within the payroll system.

• Review and verify timesheets for completeness and accuracy.

• Update and maintain spreadsheets related to payroll data.

• Perform data entry tasks to support payroll processing.

• Assist in handling payroll operations, including calculations and disbursements.

• Manage payroll-related tasks such as garnishments and deductions.

• Process payroll for employees ranging from 101 to 500 individuals.

• Maintain compliance with payroll policies and procedures.

• Address additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll operations, including full-cycle payroll.

• Associates degree

• Proficiency in data entry and spreadsheet management.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
