    Job Title: Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team in a production environment where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing construction barricades. Your day will involve unloading materials, working on a production line, using hand and power tools, and conducting quality checks to ensure products meet our standards. You will be responsible for loading completed products onto pallets or trucks for distribution. Collaborative efforts are essential as team lifting is required for items over 75 pounds.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload materials for production.

    + Operate on a production line using hand and power tools.

    + Perform quality checks, including spray bottle and soap tests.

    + Load completed products onto pallets or trucks.

    + Organize inventory and orders.

    + Participate in team lifting for heavy items.

    + Train and become certified on sit-down forklifts.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and warehouse environments.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to load and unload trucks.

    + Forklift operation experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift certification (training provided).

    + Flexibility with start and end times to accommodate personal needs.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a small warehouse production environment that is heated but not air-conditioned, which can lead to warmer conditions in the summer. The team is composed of about five people, fostering a tight-knit, collaborative atmosphere. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility for personal commitments, and overtime is rarely required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glenn Dale, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
