Job Title: Drain & Sewer Rodding Technician in Hobart, IN

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Drain & Sewer Rodding Technician to join our growing plumbing division. This role focuses on diagnosing and clearing drain blockages, performing sewer rodding, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and light commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and excellent customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

+ Perform drain cleaning and sewer rodding using mechanical and hydro-jetting equipment.

+ Diagnose and resolve clogged drains, sewer backups, and related plumbing issues.

+ Maintain plumbing systems and recommend improvements where needed.

+ Locate pipe positions, connections, and passage holes using appropriate tools.

+ Repair and maintain plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing blockages.

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes, including ADA requirements.

+ Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients.

+ Keep tools and equipment operational by following manufacturer guidelines.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with drain and sewer rodding.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of plumbing systems and service plumbing.

+ Ability to work in various environments, including basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor areas.

Work Environment

Our technicians work primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends for emergency calls. The role involves working in residential homes and some light commercial projects. Technicians must be comfortable working in various environments, including basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor settings.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hobart, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
