Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Prosecution Paralegal to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to support patent prosecution processes for both U.S. and international filings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and update patent docketing systems to ensure all deadlines for U.S. and international filings are tracked and met.

• Prepare and file formal documents with the USPTO and foreign patent offices, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with foreign associates and clients to coordinate filing instructions and provide status updates on patent applications.

• Review and validate documents for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.

• Maintain and organize detailed records of patent applications, correspondence, and other important documents.

• Ensure compliance with firm protocols and client guidelines related to intellectual property management.

• Assist with electronic filings, including assignments and other prosecution-related documents.

• Work closely with attorneys, paralegal managers, and other team members to streamline patent prosecution workflows.

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and vendors regarding patent-related matters. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate is preferred.

• Previous experience with intellectual property docketing or patent administration is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with USPTO procedures and patent terminology (training will be provided if necessary).

• Proficiency in docketing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience with international patent filings and related coordination is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
