    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead and oversee core accounting operations in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency across accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

    • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports for senior leadership.

    • Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting team members, supporting their growth and attention to detail in their development.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including audit and tax preparation activities.

    • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance the Great Plains system and implement improvements effectively.

    • Monitor and strengthen internal controls by identifying and implementing process enhancements.

    • Address and resolve discrepancies in account reconciliations and journal entries.

    • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and streamline accounting workflows.
