Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Description
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of avionic instrumentation equipment down to the component level. Ensure perfect functionality and provide customers with reliable and quality repairs.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, including testing, modifications, replacements, and repairs.
+ Complete documentation such as shop and work order records and submit required reports.
+ Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics, procedures, and technical manuals.
+ Utilize company database to locate parts and manuals.
+ Apply principles and basic theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, mathematics, testing, and elementary physics.
Essential Skills
+ Radio experience.
+ Aptitude for fine, detailed mechanical work with a high level of accuracy.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage several projects at once.
+ Basic communication skills; written, verbal, and interpersonal.
+ Minimum two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
+ Experience in the maintenance and repair of avionic equipment such as autopilot, radios, radar, or transponders.
+ Proficiency with PCB soldering, autopilot, and radio repair.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Must pass FAA/DOT drug screen.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum two years of experience in repair station experience.
+ Experience utilizing hand tools and electronic testing equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $61000.00/yr.
