Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Job Description
Join our team in a dynamic new role, where you will be responsible for managing inventory and overseeing all shipping, ordering, sales activity, and receiving functions within our fabric division. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and maintain the inventory tracking system for incoming products and raw aluminum materials, ensuring accurate storage and transfer to different departments.
+ Utilize Excel for all inventory tracking and data management, ensuring all product entries are accurate and timely.
+ Communicate effectively with salespeople regarding customer orders for specific fabric requirements.
+ Inspect and report non-conforming products during unloading and provide detailed reports to management.
+ Operate a forklift and pallet jack for unloading trucks and transferring materials from the warehouse to the plant floor.
+ Remove furniture and raw materials from and onto trucks using hand jacks; forklift training available if required.
+ Coordinate with all levels of management regarding raw materials inventory, department needs, and materials management.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years experience in cycle counts, inventory tracking, and inventory management.
+ Proficiency in Excel and data/inventory tracking.
+ Experience in receiving, customer service, and high-level inventory management.
+ Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the manufacturing industry.
+ Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
+ Knowledge of quality assurance, logistics, and packaging.
+ Experience with SAP and clerical tasks.

Work Environment
Our facility offers a very clean and well-lit environment. The process starts with drill press work for raw materials, followed by welding, grinding, painting, quality control, and final assembly. Our sewing area in the back is where cushions are handmade. Please note, the environment can be hot in the summer as it is not climate-controlled with AC.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
