    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    As a General Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are correctly packed and labeled, maintaining company safety policies, and conducting quality inspections to uphold product standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Place products in coolers and affix labels to containers, ensuring correct items are sent to customers.

    + Maintain and follow company safety policies at all times.

    + Visually inspect products, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for cleanliness and defects.

    + Follow procedures to minimize product damage.

    + Lift dry ice from bins to scale and verify weights.

    + Place dry ice from conveyor into properly sized coolers.

    + Reject defective dry ice based on weight, specifications, and packaging.

    + Distinguish between different package shipping modes and affix appropriate labels.

    + Conduct quality control inspections of coolers to ensure orders are correct and properly presented.

    + Obtain and place correct products or premiums in coolers in case of packing errors and record the error.

    + Inspect coolers at a rate of 75 coolers per hour.

    + Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

    + Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large warehouse setting with conveyor belts, where products move at a high rate of speed. The environment is not a freezer; it maintains a normal warehouse temperature. Shifts run from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
