Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team, where you will be responsible for working within a cell to test, build, and package electro-mechanical products. This role involves basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards, wire bonding, and RF soldering for sub-assemblies. You will use visual and written work instructions to add customer-specific components, package products, and stage them for shipping. Additionally, you will notify material handlers of any part shortages and be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
Responsibilities
+ Test, build, and package electro-mechanical products within a production cell.
+ Perform basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards.
+ Conduct wire bonding and RF soldering for sub-assemblies.
+ Follow visual and written instructions to add customer-specific components.
+ Package products and prepare them for shipping.
+ Notify material handlers about part shortages.
+ Lift and handle materials weighing up to 35 lbs.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with assembly and small parts handling.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools.
+ Ability to perform basic computer operations.
+ Understanding of general production and mechanical assembly processes.
+ Competence in testing and soldering techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to provide references for the last 5 jobs or 7 years.
+ Strong understanding of English language.
+ Background in the production of small parts.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods.

Work Environment
The work environment is a lean manufacturing, kan-ban, production cell setting following ESD protocol. The Red Team focuses on traditional PCB building, including board stuffing and soldering. The Orange Team is known for its quiet atmosphere, while the Blue Team requires flexible personalities due to team rotations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
