    Forklift Operator & Material Handler – $17/hr

    **Location:** Eldridge, IA

    **Shift:** 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

     

    Job Overview

     

    Join our team at a large, climate-controlled distribution center as a **Forklift Operator and Material Handler** . In this role, you’ll be responsible for building pallets of canned dry goods for shipment to grocery stores and retailers. You’ll operate a stand-up forklift and work in a fast-paced environment using a headset for picking instructions.

    Responsibilities

    + Build pallets of canned dry goods based on client orders.

    + Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.

    + Pick, pack, and customize pallets according to specifications.

    + Use a headset to receive and follow picking instructions.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift.

    + Experience in order picking and packing.

    + General warehouse labor skills.

    Qualifications

    + **Minimum:** 6 months of forklift experience OR 1+ year in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

    + Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
