    Electrical Assembler

    **Location:** Rockford

    **Shift:** 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional Saturday overtime)

     

    About the Role

     

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented **Electrical Assembler** to join our team! In this role, you’ll install electrical wiring and assemble components for control cabinets and industrial equipment. You’ll work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to ensure precise, high-quality installations.

    What You’ll Do

    + Install power supply wiring and conduit/unistrut for new and rebuilt machinery.

    + Assemble bases, sills, cabinet frames, and structural components.

    + Connect power supply wires and cables between machines and equipment.

    + Lay out diagrams for electrical installations per wiring specifications.

    + Drill, tap, and mount control units; attach electrical components securely.

    + Cut, strip, bend, and form wire, conduit, and tubing for circuits and subassemblies.

    + Connect color-coded wires in compact areas, solder connections, and crimp connectors.

    + Test and adjust electrical assemblies; operate programmable controllers to verify functionality.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

    + Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and performing panel wiring.

    + Familiarity with conduit bending and installation.

    + **Preferred:** Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

    + **Ideal:** 2+ years of electrical experience (recent graduates welcome!).

    Bonus Skills:

    + Experience in a production environment.

    + Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition.

    + Mechanical assembly skills and comfort in industrial settings.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
