    Job Title: Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves 80% electrical and 20% mechanical work, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our systems, requiring a strong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

    + Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

    + Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs when breakdowns occur.

    + Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and machinery.

    + Test fixed machinery to ensure proper performance.

    + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

    + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

    + Document repair and maintenance work for record-keeping purposes.

    + Recommend improvements or modifications to enhance system performance.

    Essential Skills

    + Comfortable running independently.

    + Experience with process equipment.

    + Familiarity with chillers and boilers.

    + Start up and troubleshooting experience.

    + Understanding of Allen Bradley PLC.

    + Bilingual in Spanish.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.

    + Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.

    + Familiarity with using various power and hand tools.

    + Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads.

    + Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

    + Degree in engineering or manufacturing is a plus.

    + A valid driver’s license is preferred.

    Work in a food manufacturing environment where adhering to safety protocols is essential. Employees are required to gown up, and floors may be wet at times. This position involves working on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.
