Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in the Los Angeles Basin, covering areas such as the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Alhambra, San Marino, and Beachfronts. This role involves servicing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
+ Perform HVAC repairs, including split condensing unit repair/replacement, leak detection, and system maintenance.
+ Service self-contained units, VRF systems, heat pumps, and controls.
+ Work on commercial systems such as rooftop units, air handling units, hydronic systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and VAV boxes.
+ Conduct general and preventive maintenance to ensure system longevity and reliability.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including electrical problems (low voltage controls and high voltage power).
+ Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
+ Accurately complete service documentation using ServiceTitan (tablet and phone provided).
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 5 years of HVAC field experience.
+ Must be proficient with VRF/VRV systems.
+ Universal EPA Certification.
+ HVAC trade school or college coursework.
+ Strong understanding of cooling tower systems, chillers, pumps, air handling systems, ductwork, VAV systems, and boilers.
+ Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Authorized to work in the United States.
+ Fluent in English (spoken and written).
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Nice to have experience in electrical installation.
+ Must pass drug screening and physical exam.
+ Must provide own hand tools and PPE.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime as needed. You will work alone 95% of the time, and a company van will be provided for travel. The role requires commuting within a 25-mile radius of Glendale, CA. Dress code requires no visible face tattoos due to the client-facing nature of the role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $104000.00/yr.
