    Job Title: Quality/Test Inspector

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to conduct incoming quality inspections. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting metal or fabrication parts, checking measurements, and ensuring mechanical quality assurance. Proficiency with basic hand and power tools is required, as well as experience in hardware installation, sprockets, and chains. The role involves assembling large pieces of equipment or performing quality checks on large units.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct incoming quality inspections of metal or fabricated parts.

    + Check measurements and tolerances for mechanical quality assurance.

    + Use basic hand and power tools for inspections and installations.

    + Perform hardware installations and ensure proper assembly.

    + Inspect and work with sprockets and chains.

    + Assemble large equipment or perform quality checks on large units.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in quality inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.

    + Proficiency in visual inspections and quality checks.

    + Ability to use calipers and micrometers.

    + Experience in assembly and working with large equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift 50 pounds.

    + Proficiency in reading English.

    Work Environment

     

    The Elkridge facility offers a fast-paced contract manufacturing setting, providing turnkey electronics manufacturing solutions. Employees engage in assembling conveyors, complex military/defense box builds, UL508a control panels, large mechanical systems, and cable/wire harnesses. Flexibility is key as projects vary daily, ensuring no two days are the same.

    This is a Contract position based out of ELKRIDGE, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
