Job Title: CNC Machinist and Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a job shop environment where you will be responsible for the full setup, loading of CNC machines, and inputting programs. You will make necessary edits and changes in VISI, perform touch offs and tool changes, and run programs. Quality checks using micrometers and gauges are essential. You will program in VISI, Mastercam, or Fusion 360, focusing on machining parts for the tool and die industry.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and load CNC machines.

+ Input and edit programs using VISI, Mastercam, or Fusion 360.

+ Perform touch offs and tool changes.

+ Run CNC programs and conduct quality checks using micrometers and gauges.

+ Machining parts for die setting in machinery.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in CNC machining, including lathes and mills.

+ Experience in CNC programming and blueprint reading.

+ Capability to perform quality checks using micrometers and gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with 3D CAM software such as VISI, Mastercam, or Fusion 360.

+ Experience working in a job shop environment with low volume and tight tolerances.

Work Environment

This position offers 1st shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday). Work in a low-volume, precision machining job shop environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Byron Center, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
