Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by analyzing work orders, estimating worker hours, and creating machining schedules that align with both internal and external requirements. This position is responsible for computing in-process stock and line supplies, interpreting specifications, assigning duties, and ensuring that customer deadlines are consistently met. Additionally, the role involves inspecting parts and products to verify their conformance to specifications and directing workers to adjust machines and equipment to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

+ Analyze work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules.

+ Compute amounts of in-process stock and requisition materials from storage.

+ Interpret specifications and job orders, assigning duties to workers.

+ Interface with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met.

+ Inspect and measure parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.

+ Direct workers in adjusting machines and equipment to ensure product standards.

+ Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.

+ Develop and implement measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.

+ Assist workers in solving work problems and create work instructions.

+ Support and participate in continual improvement projects for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS).

+ Implement and enforce EHS programs and policies.

+ Implement corrective actions to address non-conformities identified in safety audits.

+ Monitor and report corrective action progress to EHS.

+ Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse management, supervision, and shipping and receiving.

+ Proficiency in inventory control, Microsoft Office, and logistics.

+ Strong skills in safety, warehouse inventory, and supervisory management.

+ Knowledge of warehouse management systems and continuous improvement.

+ Experience in material handling, forklift operations, and transportation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Greencastle, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

10 days vacation 5 sicks days (have use 5 of the days for the end of year shut down)

Have a 2 week shut down in July

Amazing Benefits:

Single- $7.50 a week for health, dental, and vision

Family- $25 a week for health , dental, and vision
