    Job Title: Manual Machinist (Night Shift)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for the 2nd shift to operate vertical turret lathes and horizontal mills. The successful candidate will initially train on day shifts for a couple of weeks before transitioning to the designated shift.

    Responsibilities

    + Understand drawings to determine type of material, speed rate, and feed rate to be worked.

    + Safely load designated material on the mill table.

    + Determine, select, and install the proper cutting tool.

    + Safely set, operate, and monitor mills in accordance with drawings.

    + Inspect final work for accuracy and quality.

    + Re-stamp heat numbers as required.

    + Complete job order completion reports.

    + Maintain cleanliness and safety of the mill and surrounding area.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC and manual machining.

    + Experience with lathe operations and manual lathe machining.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Familiarity with vertical turret lathes, grinding, and machine shop operations.

    + Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.

    + Knowledge of tooling, welding, and mill operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm, with initial training on day shifts from 6am to 3pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
