Job Title: 1st Shift - Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate, where you will be responsible for the receipt, packaging, and shipment of goods and equipment. You will manage inventory to maintain an adequate supply of materials, supporting manufacturing, and services.

Responsibilities

+ Properly move materials according to company procedures and collaborate with other departments.

+ Update inventory control documents and ERP system as required.

+ Deliver products to the appropriate facility, inventory location, or departmental personnel.

+ Receive and inspect shipments of materials, equipment, or packages and confirm they meet ordered quantity and quality specifications.

+ Confirm accuracy of shipments and sign relevant documents.

+ Manage in-house inventory levels for GMP and non-GMP materials and supplies to support demands and schedules, while maintaining safety stock levels.

+ Schedule and prepare shipments by coordinating with other departments and facilities.

+ Label, package, and store all incoming and outgoing materials in accordance with product requirements and company procedures.

+ Assist in developing, improving, and maintaining policies, procedures, and material control systems used in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics functions.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in inventory, picking, material handling, shipping, and receiving.

+ 2+ years of experience in warehouse/inventory/shipping and receiving.

+ Proficiency with forklift, RF scanner, pallet jack, order picking, and packaging.

+ Experience in receiving and warehouse operations, inventory control, and/or materials management.

Work Environment, Shift Hours, and Pay

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse and office environment. The position is 1st shift, with hours from Monday to Thursday being 9 hours each day, and Friday for 4 hours. There is a flexible start time between 5:00 am to 7:00 am, with the end time determined by the start time. Pay ranges between $24-$25/hr, based upon experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
