    Job Title: Backshop- Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team in the Backshop on the "D" Shift, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. This high-volume position requires an individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, as it is essential to maintaining the functionality of our mills.

    Responsibilities

    + Run ID/OD polishers to maintain product quality.

    + Perform 'Air Underwater Hydro Testing' to ensure safety standards.

    + Operate or learn to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

    + Print and fulfill customer orders on time.

    + Pick and pack customer orders according to specified requirements.

    + Label and stage customer packages for shipment.

    + Consolidate shipments when necessary and assist with loading.

    + Conduct finished goods inventory cycle counts.

    + Replenish inventory in storage racks to maintain stock levels.

    + Become forklift certified and operate it safely.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in general labor and warehouse production.

    + Order picking skills and forklift operation.

    + 6 months to 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

    + Proficiency in operating forklifts, RF scanners, and material handling.

    + Ability to operate sit-down forklifts effectively.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

    + Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace protocols.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
