    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Responsible for the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment. You will be required to perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of production equipment, including processing and packaging equipment. Additionally, you will plan and schedule preventive maintenance tasks to align with production needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness.

    + Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.

    + Adhere to all plant safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.

    + Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of new or relocated production equipment according to layout plans and manufacturer specifications.

    + Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and modifications in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

    + Experience with preventive maintenance, including industrial equipment and machinery.

    + Expertise in electrical troubleshooting and understanding of PLC control systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics and work with 3-phase electrical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School diploma or GED required.

    + Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The company boasts a family-oriented culture with over 300 full-time and temporary employees spread across multiple shifts. Facilities include lockers and a cafeteria for employee use. The work environment is temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable workspace for all employees. Shifts include 8-hour shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM, and 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, following a 2-2-3 schedule, with no more than three consecutive shifts without at least two days off.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Easton, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.

    Annual Bonus Potential for all full time employees

    5 vacation days and PTO/144 hours of Paid Holiday Time (12 days)

     

    $1000 sign on bonus

     

    Company matched 401k and employee value sharing plan

    This is a fully onsite position in Easton,PA.
