    Position Summary

    RSI is recruiting for a Senior Training Facilitatorwho will beresponsible for facilitating instructor-led and virtual training sessions across LM program areas, including environmental management, technical operations, and organizational development. This role collaborates closely with LM leadership, subject matter experts, and program teams to ensure training content aligns with DOE directives, safety standards, and organizational objectives.

    **Location(s):** Westminster, CO

    **Status:** Full-Time

    **FLSA:** Exempt

    **Hiring Range:** $95,000.00 to $105,000.00per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)

     

    This position is required to travel up to 25% of the time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions both virtually and in-person across DOE LM locations and partner sites.

    + Implement established standards and requirements for training programs through effective instructional design and delivery. This includes ensuring all training activities and materials adhere to federal, DOE, and LM-specific requirements, including safety, security, and environmental stewardship standards.

    + Collaborates with subject matter experts to create engaging content, learning activities, and assessments that are aligned with LM’s policies, environmental compliance requirements, and technical standards.

    + Support the maintenance and administration of LM’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate documentation, scheduling, reporting, and certification tracking.

    + Ensures training programs are executed efficiently and effectively, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed to support the overarching mission.

    + Assesses training outcomes by collecting and analyzing feedback, evaluating participant performance, and measuring impact on business objectives.

    + Provides recommendations for course improvements, new program development, and revisions to ensure training remains relevant and impactful.

    + Oversight of authorized instructors across the organization, development and maintenance of training resources on the departmental webpage, and the execution of train-the-trainer programs.

    + Participate in building employee competencies, on the job training evaluations, and task qualifications; work with other training specialists and managers to evaluate and assess knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform job functions.

    + Coach and mentor junior facilitators and subject matter experts to improve instructional techniques, learner engagement, and presentation skills.

    + Represent the Learning and Development team in cross-functional projects and act as a resource for best practices in instructional delivery.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, environmental science, organizational development, or related field. Advance degree is preferred.

    + Minium of 10 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in developing and instructing training programs.

    Licenses and Certifications

    + Valid Driver’s License

    Required Skills and Abilities

    + Knowledge of adult learning theories, principles, and practices.

    + Experience creating instructor-based training sessions, instructor- led training guides, supporting materials following an ADDIE/SAT (or similar) instructional design process.

    + Proven ability to facilitate virtual and in-person learning for diverse audiences.

    + Ability to organize employee and student curriculums based on job field or functional areas of responsibility.

    + Working knowledge of a wide range of instructional technologies including the ability to assist instructional faculty and program staff in choosing/implementing the best methods to meet the programs identified needs.

    + Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving and fluid environment; must be able to manage multiple projects, sometimes on tight deadlines, while liaising with multiple project managers.

    + Skill and ability to perform highly complex and critical professional tasks in order to solve complex problems.

    + Working knowledge of DOE operations, environmental management practices, or related federal program standards preferred.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    Essential Physical Requirements

     

    Medium: Work involves moving objects by exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or an above-negligible amount and up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
