Job Description
We are looking for a **Financial Analyst** to manage and oversee the financial aspects of child welfare programs. This position will be **part** **-time contract** and **remote** .
What You’ll Do
+ Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing child welfare programs to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
+ Utilize quantitative and qualitative financial data to evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency
+ Develop and implement evaluation frameworks and tools to measure financial program outcomes specific to child welfare services.
+ Research and analyze current financial policies and regulations affecting child welfare services
+ Assist in the development of policy recommendations and strategic plans to enhance financial service delivery in child welfare
+ Support the implementation of new financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government officials, community organizations, and service providers, to gather financial insights and build consensus
+ Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to discuss financial program goals, challenges, and solutions specific to child welfare
+ Provide technical assistance and training to stakeholders on best financial practices and innovative approaches in the context of child welfare services
+ Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful completion of financial consulting engagements related to child welfare
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial services and solutions tailored to child welfare programs
+ Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate financial findings and recommendations
+ Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging practices, and technological advancements in child welfare finance
+ Identify opportunities for financial innovation and improvement within child welfare programs and processes
+ Share financial knowledge and expertise with colleagues and clients to foster a culture of continuous learning and development
What You’ll Need
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or other business-related field
+ Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within child welfare or human services consulting, program evaluation, or a related field
+ Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budget management, and compliance with state and federal regulations
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed recommendations
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and persuasively
+ Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
+ Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple financial projects and deadlines simultaneously
+ Commitment to improving child welfare services and making a positive impact on vulnerable children and families
+ Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing environments and client financial needs
+ High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards
Preferred:
+ Proven track record of managing financial projects and delivering results in a consulting environment
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
