Job Requisition: REQ 4099 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40-hour/week
Hiring range: Starting at $95,680.00
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
Server Management:
+ Administer Windows and Linux servers hosting healthcare applications such as EHR/EMR systems, PACS, and billing platforms.
+ Monitor and maintain application performance, availability, and integration with server infrastructure.
+ Implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures
+ Identify and troubleshoot server related issues; P rioritize and categorize incidents based on urgency and impact on business operations.
+ Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure server-hosted applications meet operational needs. Collaborate with third-party IT support vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues.
P erformance Tuning & Optimization:
+ Analyze server and application performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
+ Optimize resource allocation in virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V) to ensure efficient operation.
+ Conduct regular performance reviews and apply tuning techniques to enhance system responsiveness and reliability.
Security & Compliance:
+ Ensure server and application environments comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare regulations.
+ Conduct regular audits and implement security controls to protect patient data.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
+ Design and maintain backup and recovery solutions for both server and application data.
+ Test recovery procedures to ensure minimal disruption to patient care and operations.
Technical Leadership:
+ Lead infrastructure projects including server migrations, application deployments, and performance tuning.
+ Provide after-hours support for mission-critical applications and participate in on-call rotations.

Education, Training & Experience:
+ Associates degree in Information Technology required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
