    Housing Case Manager – Domestic Violence Program

    Unity House of Troy is seeking a proactive, compassionate, and dedicated Housing Case Manager to support survivors of domestic violence in achieving safe and stable housing. The ideal candidate is committed to trauma-informed, victim-centered service and thrives in a role that blends advocacy, direct support, and detailed case coordination.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Advocate for the Domestic Violence Program and the individuals we serve.

    + Provide trauma-informed, victim-centered case management services to survivors of domestic violence.

    + Offer ongoing support, safety planning, needs assessments, and individualized advocacy.

    + Make referrals to community resources and maintain regular, supportive contact with clients.

    + Understand and navigate housing requirements, options, and systems to help survivors secure stable housing.

    + Complete reports, documentation, and compliance activities accurately and on time.

    + Contribute to a professional environment that promotes inclusion, respect, and belonging.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field with 1 year of experience preferred, or

    + Associate’s degree in Human Services or a related field with 2 years of experience preferred, or

    + High School Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience may be considered.

    + Experience working with victims of domestic violence or a similar population preferred.

    + Reliable transportation required.

    + Valid, clean New York State driver’s license required.
