    Physical Therapist - Therapy Department

    Work location: Texas Health Southlake, 1545 E Southlake Blvd, TX 76092

     

    Work hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week Schedule: Monday-Thursday between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Hours vary depending on patient needs.

    Here's What You Need

    + Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program is required

    + No experience required

    + PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire is required AndBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required

    + Good verbal and written communication skills in English; Problem ? solving ability; Ability to teach others; Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills

    What You Will Do

    + Performs age appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care

    + Evaluates each patient using age and diagnosis appropriate assessment tests and measurements, including appropriate outcome assessmenttool(s)

    + Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment

    + Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license

    + Utilizes available resources (equipment, support personnel, educational resources) to maximize efficiency and productivity and to meetpersonal developmental needs

    + Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and otherapplicable regulatory guidelines
