Summary:
The Systems Analyst II for Development and Construction plays a key role in supporting and optimizing business applications and technology services across operations. Primary platforms include ArcGIS, Autodesk AEC, Procore, and HeavyJob. This role ensures systems are reliable, integrated, and aligned with both field and office workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. The analyst supports construction technology deployment, maintains consistent IT service delivery, and manages logistics for technology mobilization across job sites and offices. Acting as a bridge between IT, field teams, and business stakeholders, the analyst provides support, oversees application lifecycles, and leads continuous improvement to meet evolving business needs.
This role will be hybrid requiring a minimum of 3 days in office.
Requirements:
Application Support:
+ Lead strategic planning by assessing system architecture and recommending improvements.
+ Oversees complex projects or multiple platforms, often guiding cross-functional efforts to align technology with business goals.
+ Administer operational oversight of ArcGIS, Autodesk AEC, Procore, HeavyJob, and other Development & Construction applications, ensuring availability, performance, and user satisfaction.
+ Manage configurations, updates, integrations, and application lifecycles using ITSM frameworks to ensure structured deployment, change control, and incident resolution
+ Track all activity in the ITSM platform to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and recommend improvements that enhance system support and performance.
+ Analyze and resolve escalated user issues, leveraging root cause analysis and trend identification to implement sustainable solutions and reduce recurring incidents.
+ Create and maintain user guides, knowledge articles, and other support documentation.
Construction Operations Support:
+ Coordinate technology mobilization and demobilization for construction projects, including logistics, and asset tracking
+ Support remote field connectivity by sourcing ISPs, deploying mobile solutions (e.g., hotspots, satellite), configuring trailer networks, and maintaining field technology infrastructure.
+ Evaluate and pilot emerging construction technologies to improve project efficiency, safety, and adoption.
User Support & Training:
+ Act as a liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to resolve complex issues and align technology with strategic goals.
+ Collaborate with teams (e.g., Finance, Business Transformation, Project Delivery) to ensure data integrity and optimize system usage.
+ Own and maintain training materials & deliver sessions as needed to ensure effective system use.
Collaboration & Communication:
+ Partners with functional leaders to identify strategic objectives, determine functional needs and requirements, and craft comprehensive plans for continuous application development aligned with those goals and needs.
+ Work closely with other IT teams, business units, and external vendors to resolve issues and implement changes.
+ Works with Global teams to develop standards and practices that work across regions.
+ Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of system status and support activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
+ Model and promote a safety- and quality-first culture, leading by example and reinforcing best practices across all supported systems and teams.
+ Collaborate with Construction Management teams to align technology solutions with operational needs.
+ Track and manage inventory of IT and field technology assets across multiple job sites.
+ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across Development & Construction systems by implementing validation protocols, monitoring data quality, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
+ Lead and document system audits to verify compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices & drive remediation and continuous improvement initiatives based on findings.
+ Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
+ Comply with the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, or business, or equivalent experience preferred.
+ ArcGIS, Procore, HeavyJob Enterprise Admin training or system-specific certifications preferred.
+ ITIL v4, CompTIA Network+, Project+, DataSys+, and Microsoft Power Platform Fundamental (or equivalent) preferred.
+ 5 or more years of experience in systems management or IT support role, ideally within the construction or project management industry required.
+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5 to 15% required.
+ Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
+ Experience with ITILv4 or related service delivery frameworks.
+ Familiarity with Project Management as a team member and SME.
+ Knowledge of geospatial analysis, map services, and ArcGIS Online
+ Familiarity with networking, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), and application integration.
+ Working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
+ Scripting skills in Python, SQL, and PowerShell.
+ Proactive and self-directed, capable of independently managing complex tasks while collaborating effectively across departments and stakeholder groups.
+ Advanced technical aptitude, including the ability to troubleshoot escalated issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and engage stakeholders at all levels.
+ Familiarity with Development & Construction workflows with the ability to align technology solutions to field and office operations.
**Anticipated base salary range:** $90,000 - $113,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
