Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s or Master degree in industrial/organizational psychology.

+ 3+ years of experience with organizational development and/or design.

Job Summary

Leads the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmatic organizational development initiatives across the enterprise. Leads thought partnership and consultation for HR business partners, HR, and Business Leaders regarding organizational development best practices, organizational design theory, leadership practices, performance improvement, change management, associate listening, and communication.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

+ Leads concurrent and complex organizational design and redesign work projects including conducting current state assessments, creation of design principles and structural designs based on best practices and industry benchmarking, providing guidance to internal partners on talent assessment and identification, partnering on change management and communication planning, and providing advisement and guidance during execution.

+ Partners with HR business partners to assess, design, and implement organizational effectiveness (OE) strategies and tools to ensure strong, business focused programs that support and enhance the business.

+ Leads the development of solutions, tools, and training to deliver best-practice leadership, team-building, associate listening, and change management initiatives, ensuring streamlined, efficient processes that meet business needs and support the implementation of business initiatives.

+ Procures necessary tools and resources to support service requirement, diagnoses potential organizational issues using talent analytics data and other data inputs and recommends solutions and interventions based on analysis.

+ Collaborates with stakeholders in the creation of project timelines and deadlines.

+ Develops and monitors project plans, preparing reports on milestones, metrics, and budgets to track progress and effectiveness of all programs.

+ Acts as a mentor to specialist level teammates.

+ Leads execution of Associate Listening components such as pulse check surveys or focus groups.

Nature and Scope

+ Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.

+ Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.

+ May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.

Work Environment

+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

+ Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

+ Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
