    Step into a pivotal leadership role on our Syndicate Operations and Public Finance Trade Support team. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire teams, challenge the status quo, and deliver best-in-class operational support for complex financial products. You will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, inspire high-performing teams, and champion innovation.

     

    As an Executive Director on the Syndicate Operations and Public Finance Trade Support team, you will lead and manage the Trade Support teams, driving operational excellence, innovation, and transformation across Fixed Income New Issuance and Secondary Markets. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement, and ensuring robust controls and regulatory compliance.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Set the vision and strategy for Syndicate Operations and Public Finance Trade Support, aligning with firm-wide objectives

    + Oversee end-to-end trade lifecycle management for Primary and Secondary Fixed Income products, including Municipal Bonds, Corporate Bonds, CLOs, ABS, RMBS, CMBS, and more

    + Ensure strict adherence to operational, regulatory, and economic risk controls

    + Maintain deep knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (MSRB, FINRA, TRACE, DTC, Euroclear, etc.)

    + Maintain robust reconciliation, completeness checks, and control sign-offs across all processes

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across Front, Middle, and Back Office, including Underwriting, Sales, Trading, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Legal

    + Drive organizational change, process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives

    + Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions

    + Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, empowering managers and associates to excel

    + Champion the adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and digital tools (Excel VBA, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, AI/ML)

    + Oversee implementation of new systems and technology enhancements to streamline operations

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

    + 10+ years of experience in Fixed Income Operations, Syndicate, or Public Finance

    + 5+ years in a senior leadership role

    + Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large, diverse teams in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

    + Deep understanding of Primary and Secondary Fixed Income markets, trade support, and syndicate workflows

    + Strong controls discipline and risk management mindset

    + Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills

    + Track record of driving organizational change and process improvement

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

    + Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale transformation projects

    + In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices

    + Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

    + Commitment to fostering a culture of empowerment, innovation, and continuous improvement

    + Advanced technical skills (Excel, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, AI/ML tools) are positive
