    Business Systems Analyst - Clinical Systems

     

    AT TEKsystems we are supporting a local healthcare provider seeking a Business Systems Analyst with clinical healthcare systems experience. Under the general direction of the Manager of the Information Systems Department, the Business Systems Analyst, Clinical provides application support to user departments and serves as the primary liaison between the clinical community, vendors, and the IS Department. This role is responsible for Tier 2 application support, translating high-level customer requirements into functional specifications, and managing changes to those specifications. The analyst utilizes various platforms to deliver automated system applications and ensures technology processes and systems meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate comes with minimum 1-3 years of experience in a clinical healthcare environment. Candidates must be a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide Tier 2 support for clinical applications and resolve complex issues.

    + Act as the key liaison between clinical stakeholders, vendors, and the IS Department.

    + Gather, compile, and synthesize information related to technology processes and systems.

    + Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system development.

    + Manage changes to specifications and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

    + Perform coding, define criteria, conduct testing, debugging, and maintain programs.

    + Document processes, workflows, and system configurations accurately.

    + Support workflow analysis and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    + At least one (1) year of experience in functional analysis, system design, and/or business applications.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience supporting information systems in a clinical or healthcare setting.

    + Strong background in workflow analysis and implementing workflow changes.

    + Familiarity with clinical applications and healthcare technology standards.

    + Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    + Proficiency in testing, debugging, and maintaining applications.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
