    Field Services Technician

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Field Services team. Theis position is on-site and customer-facing, providing direct technical support to end users. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with desktop support, and excellent communication abilities in a Windows-based environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Configure, install, and maintain desktop hardware and software.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.

    + Perform hardware repairs, replacements, and upgrades.

    + Provide password resets, account support, and basic network troubleshooting.

    + Document support activities and manage tickets through a service desk system.

    + Deliver responsive customer service and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.

    + Support mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.

    + Assist with imaging, deployment, and migration projects.

    Required Skills:

    + Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Experience with desktop deployment, imaging, and hardware support.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.

    + Familiarity with user account management and Active Directory.

    + Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with service desk/ticketing systems.

    + Knowledge of LAN/WAN environments and printer support.

    + Technical certifications such as A+ are a plus.

    + Junior-level candidates with strong technical knowledge and interpersonal skills will be considered.

    This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
