As Manager, Performance Improvement in a Magnet recognized hospital, you will oversee performance improvement programs and processes to drive organizational excellence.
Partner with operational teams prioritize initiatives, optimize workflow design, and implement effective solutions. Lead the development and maintenance of decision-support data systems that underpin departmental and organization-wide performance improvement efforts.
Manage the oversight of multiple databases and ensure accurate monitoring of performance measures, including clinical quality indicators required for regulatory compliance and reporting. Collaborate with the Medical Staff to design, implement, and evaluate clinical guidelines and oversee the peer review process.
Provide leadership for the facility-wide policy and procedure development process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Be responsible for preparing and presenting data, insights, and recommendations to key committees, work groups, and system-level groups to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

*Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, nursing, public health, business administration, or a related discipline).
* Minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects, with demonstrated working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
* Highly developed analytical skills and expertise in applying advanced problem-solving techniques to address organizational challenges.
* Experience in the implementation and oversight of data management processes and systems, particularly in a clinical or healthcare setting.
* Fluency in performance improvement tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA), applied statistical concepts, and information management systems.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards, including The Joint Commission, Title 22, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
* Exceptional interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
*Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:*
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
* Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline) highly preferred.
* Certification in performance improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or similar, is strongly preferred.
* Certification in healthcare quality, such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), is highly desirable.
* Experience leading large-scale performance improvement initiatives, including clinical quality improvement projects and process redesign.
* Demonstrated expertise in facilitating organizational change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or statistical software such as SPSS or Minitab).
* Knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines relevant to hospital operations and care delivery.
* Experience working within a multi-site healthcare system or a large, complex organization is a plus.
