    Description

    This position is for a UI/UX Engineer supporting an advanced technology software engineering team. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside physicists, engineers, and software developers to help bring cutting-edge technologies to life. The role is based on-site in Linthicum, MD.

    Responsibilities

    + Design user interfaces and experiences that drive high adoption of software products.

    + Collaborate with users to identify design improvements that reduce engineering effort in new applications.

    + Partner with software engineering teams to plan and scope work in alignment with fast-paced project milestones.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with at least 8 years of experience.

    + Working knowledge of one of the following languages: C, WinForms.

    + Experience developing UI/UX interfaces for legacy applications.

    + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    + U.S. citizenship required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experienced software developer capable of supporting backend development tasks in addition to UI/UX updates.

    + Experience in developing WinForms applications and supporting complex legacy software suites.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

    + Familiarity with the Atlassian software suite.

    + Experience working within an agile scrum framework.

    This is a Contract position based out of Linthicum Heights, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120.00 - $135.70/hr.
